Tickets for Release 37 Lot Deed Raffle

This will be the Fifth Lot Deed Raffle. For this raffle, we dropped the numbers lower to better match current demand and pace remaining stock.

There will be no free raffle tickets with this Raffle. Tickets can be purchased with in game gold. As with R36, each person can only win a single deed of each type (maximum of one place anywhere and one POT). The drawing and winners will be in R38.

There are two raffles, one for each lot type:

• Place Anywhere Deeds (10):
  • Row: 5
  • Village: 3
  • Town: 1
  • City: 1
• Player Owned Town Deeds (75):
  • Row: 40
  • Village: 20
  • Town: 10
  • City: 5

It should be fun. It would be interesting to have final gold sink #s for previous Raffles like @Chris did a few Raffles ago.

How many more raffles before the deeds are gone?

 

Was it supposed to be 30% of total pledge lot deeds combined with add-on store purchased right before final wipes (or whenever the add-on store place anywhere deed expire)?

 

Correct, 30% over pledge/add-on sales

 

No reason we have to give away all the lots month over month before launch if we haven't hit that 30% yet. All I see is a lot of people selling deeds because they have multiples from the raffle.

 

At the present rate - 38 more I have no idea...but seriously...a long, long time.

yes.

About a month before pledges expired entirely I did a head count of about 4600 pledgers with deeds and about 2000 addons place-anywhere deeds sold with a stated max of 30% of that handed out through game play (raffles etc). So about 2000 place anywhere deeds that could potentially be given out through game play. They did sell a couple of extra pledges in those two last months so could be a bit bigger but that should give you a ballpark. You could count here:

Right now they have handed out about
75 +75 +20+20 = 190 place anywhere. So there is quite the way to go.

Now what skews the perception is that they introduced POT deeds as well with an unknown amount reserved for raffles.
600+600+150+150 = 1500 so far.

Going forward they have 10 place-anywhere and 75 pot deeds per raffle.
Given the above they could, if they so wish, keep this rate of place-anywhere deeds for about 15 years before they run out of available lots for those deeds.

For pot deeds it wouldn't take as long as that though, but there the math is more fuzzy since one needs to calculate relative sizes etc where handing out POT City deeds make no sense. There they are currently handing out 90 village size equivalence. There are roughly 330 pots with maybe an average of 40 village size equivalence lots, so ((330*40)-(720+720+180+180))/90/12 gives only about 10 years of handing out POT deeds at the current rate.


So it is a pretty safe bet that the raffles will pick up again for commercial launch...
