    Duke Violation mentioned something in nobles chat that would be nice.

    Will there be ornate devotionals available in the add-on store? That would be cool.

    What's going to happen to Central Brittany, Aerie, Resolute, and Ardoris where the Titan blessings were once going to be a thing?

    Ardoris = Love
    Aerie = Truth
    Resolute = Courage
    C. Britt = Truth, Love, Courage

    Will Central Brittany get three devotionals to replace the three Titans?

    I think the biggest penalty for a Holdfast is they'd almost certainly want the Oracle building over a devotional. I've upgraded to a Hamlet and will be able to use a devotional, but its going to be at the sacrifice of NPC buildings which are part of the overall decorations the town has.

    When I saw the NPC building limit and the number of devotionals that exist, I thought of the New Britannian Market first, and realized that have any number of devotionals is going to be painful for those trying to make more attractive POTs. Its very much true I enjoy entering the NBM each and every time for the amazing feast for the eyes.

    In my mind, the effect it has on NBM is "less positive" than I'd expect for a Metropolis. It has a stronger effect on hamlet to crossroads sized towns. The more devotionals you place, the more your town comes under siege. I'd assume if you placed all three of the love, courage, and truth blessings you'd maximize your chances of being sieged upon.

    Other than that, I do welcome the Town Blessings and thank Portalarium for getting this feature in.

    Sincerely,

    Engineer

    I think to maximise your chances of being placed under siege you would need to place all 11 base level Devotionals. Or maybe just 8 - I think there are 8 Cabalists.

    Agreed. Wish we could upgrade our POTs in-game somehow.. with crowns perhaps.

    With renting coming in to play, I wonder if there should be some consideration for larger lots that have rented space, e.g. there could be a city lot with 20 different people living in it.

    Perhaps I missed in the post and if so I apologize, but does town population affect how strong the buff is and if so does a nested POT inside one with Overland access add to the population buff or get it's own separate buff if it's nested?

    I always assumed the devotionals would be limited to one per town.

    I would have to presume it is its own separate. As that nested town might want its own devotional buffs.

    We have observed 10 Towns are under Siege since R36 (37,38, whatever?).

    Curious about the 11th.

    The 11th town may actually be Owl's Head. I have seen a siege there once or twice. (But that is in the Hidden Vale so...???)

    I have not noticed a siege taking place there before, so this is interesting news.

    It's my opinion that if the Hidden Vale should not have sieges because there are no devotionals (although there will be in POTs which seems like a lore kludge to me) then NPC towns should also have Oracle Confirmatory's removed from them as well so as to stay consistent.

    Yea, it may have been only on the QA server though... not positive if the OH siege was in live or on QA.... but there were a few there for sure at some point.

    I'd be very interested to see if cooperative efforts between POTS in the same area start to grow even if only to help each other cut down siege times to a minimum. We've been talking about regionalization on the forums for some time but I now wonder if it actually starts with a pushback against sieges instead of having it's roots in economic and goods specialization.

    I just thought of another question regarding Sieges. If one happens at a POT and someone that is bound there uses a Recall Scroll... do they bypass the Siege altogether?

    Perhaps they will only have to join it upon exiting the scene (unless they use a Teleport Scroll)?

    Well... there's an advantage for nested POTs.

    Wonderful </sarcasm>
