Town entrance

Why is it that, for most towns, the entrance is so far away from the town center?

 

I guess it is done to reflect the Real Life (tm): when you arrive to a town on foot/in carriage, you see far outskirts first, then make your way to the center of that town, passing suburbs, an uptown area, and finally the downtown.

 

Yeah but it sucks.

 

Remember when mounts are finally added to the game, this will be a much shorter travel.

 

When real mounts are added to the game, they won't go any faster than the coconuts.

 

I find most town entrances have a faster path to the town center, once learned it is pretty quick.

 

And, presumably, they will have the same restrictions as the coconuts: no interaction at all while mounted.

 

When NPC towns are un-cloned, will the entrances be adjusted at all?
