Town Reputation and fame.

Fallout had a reputation system for every town and it effected how npcs reacted to you. It was a nice add. As you completed quests you became more popular along with it.. and that fame could effect you reputation in nearby towns. It felt rewarding to go from having a bunch of npc's treat me like a outcast to a hero... also a town greeter or drunk or something to give you the basics on who has quests and generally idea on which areas are good to start in, and which are extra dangerous.

 

I'm more interested in seeing what factions are out there in the game (Council of Might? Remnants of Obsidian? Craftsman's Hall? etc) that your character can interact with, and depending on your actions, either make nice or enemies with accordingly. I do like the idea of the town crier and/or some method of showing quest leads for players to track down

 

Buy add-ons from the store. The bigger, the most and showy will have people flocking to you.

 

Have some reputation and a number in each region how well known you is
barely been there 0.1*reputation.
