    Hi, fellow Britannians!

I think this question is more suitable to be asked directly to devs, but I just wanted to share my thought the community to develop better idea.

As you know our beloved novelist Tracy Hickman and Lord British have published a SotA novel, 'Sword of Midras' a few months ago, and it's to be made as a trilogy(god knows when will the second and the third novel be released)

I enjoyed it much, and thought it'd be a good idea to translate into my language(Korean) as a global advertisement for SotA.
I'm still under consideration regarding where to post the translated novel, my blog or here in the forum.

Of course intellectual property discrimination is definitely needed to be considered, and there'd be many other regulations that I need to be reminded of, thus I'm asking the community whether translating official novel would be a good idea or not.

    Any comments are welcome.

In this particular case you would need to contact Tor books. They have the publishing license(s).

It's a good idea. You should ask @Lord British directly about this. Also maybe some others already had the same idea. But if you want my opinion, there is a difference between the intent and the result. So you should probably begin with the translation then submit it. Translation quality is the key for a book to be a success.

Right, I'd consider talking about this with Tor books. Just wondering how'd devs and community members think regarding this matter.

Translate and submit it. I think that's a good a idea. A man cannot make a decision when there's no result to review.

Keep in mind that there is always a risk. But I think that they will be interested.
