I really like the additional yellow/green health bar indicators. It makes it really easy for me to evaluate combat/healing effectiveness without taking my eyes off combat or doing math.

I like the direction the inventory/loot interface is going, but it needs more work. You guys will eventually need to make some style choices and make these windows feel more integrated into the game environment. They are smoother, but still ugly and immersion breaking. I assume you guys are aware of this, but just in case ;)

This is terrible, is there a way to turn it off?

The 1-2 second delay of applied damage, the visual distraction. This is a function you would see in a tutorial. At least give the option to turn it off.

Whatever they decide to do with it, I for one am glad its here as it is for now - Its really helping me visualize what happens when I shoot a large skeleton with a shield vs. a skeleton archer who doesn't have a shield - for example.

I know its "obvious"... but for some reason my mind likes to process the pretty health bar effects more than the scrolling combat log text - which, understandably does relate the same information just in a different way.
It also helps me see the effects of DOT like ignite weapon.

I know its always been kind of "obvious".. But in big fights the combat log is a blur.

I'm sure with eventual polish (given them the time) the developers can add a "minimalized" user interface... But for me this is a "eureka!" (don't hate).

Also.. if you hit "N" (all names default) it will hide the enemy health bars.. maybe this helps you?

Yes a option to disable the yellow bar on fight can be very nice.

Also the loot display has a very raw beta look. Why are we moving backwards on these things, why "fix" what isn't broken?

Gotta go with not being a fan of the health/focus bar changes.

The Loot container change took a short bit of getting used to and resizing it, but the new format of a larger item graphic is nicer overall.

Other UI issue to add: When you try to open a container in a town bank OTHER Than the one you deposited it in, it puts the container into your pack, you then have to redeposit the container to finally open it in the bank. Not sure if this is a bug or not.

    i like both changes.

some color tweeking on the health bar changes might be in order but over all the effect adds imo to combat.

over all I think the ui is better than it used to be but over all it feels really bland and uninteresting.

I really like it as well. It is nice to be able to evaluate combat/healing while being focused on the fight.

I'm really loving the new combat bar indicators. Its great to see what i previously calculated or expected with my build: which hits do what damage, what hits do more damage before or after whatever combos or buffs or defensive strokes..etc. Doesn't seem too slow down down or stutter what already was the situation so far either. Good change IMO.

Update: Having played a fair bit more now I'd like to change my view given combat in SOTA has always been one of its very strong points: ..
I'm really loving the new combat bar indicators.

Because the primary health bar, on screen numbers display and combat logs were not enough we needed a 4th way? It is by far the most useless and irritating change they have made.
