unable to log into game

I have downloaded the game onto 3 computers in my home. none let me log into this game. I even asked someone from another state to download the game, he said he gave up after hours of trying to get it to work.

 

Do you receive any errors when attempting to log into the game? Could you provide system details to assist us in investigating this issue further? Does playing in Offline mode work? Any additional details would assist us in investigating this issue. Thank you for reporting.

 

I can get into the offline game part but when I try to get into multi player, single or friends it gives me a message that "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

 

Would you be able to provide system specs? Some other things you might be able to try would be starting the game as administrator, or attempting a fresh install of the client.

 

I tried running as administrator but still gives me the message. i'll try a fresh install. I have no clue how to give you specs

 

after doing a fresh install i'm still getting the same message.

 

413 patch will not work. It starts up dating from 412 to 413 some where between 90% and 100% I get and error that says: ERROR DURING UPDATE Could not apply patch(Developer; see logfile) Then I have an option of RETRY or FORCE LAUNCH.

i'm running windows 10 on a asus laptop. I have enough memory on the computer. I also installed it on a gaming computer and it's still not working. I can only get into the offline part of the game. Could the problem be with the password or user name?

 

Unfortunately not. If it were a problem with the username or password, it would say so. I'll escalate this issue to the tech team for further review.

 

I am having same problem with my new computer I built and have been playing the game on for months. All of a sudden it has quit working and says same thing as his. I do a retry and it always does same thing. I do force and I just get a black screen and have to do an Alt+F4 to get back to desktop.
I have been able to uninstall the game and reload it and then I am able to play. After an update each time I have to go through this again. This just started with R29.
As I said. I have been playing R27, R28 with out any problems on my new computer.
The updates work just fine on this computer.

 

OK good news. By doing a cold reboot. SOTA loaded from scratch. It took a little longer but Everything is back up.
