Undelivered Mail

It seems this was introduced in R46 but there is very little data discussion I can see on it.

Has anyone found some?
Where was it found?
Is it a loot drop from a mob?
Is it in a box or on the ground?

 

I'd like to know too...I do a fair amount of killing things and I've never seen anything like this.

 

i found a piece on a corpse in a skeleton encounter

by corpse, i mean one of the existing ones placed for deco, not a mob.

Try North Midmaer Way. There should be some on a corpse there along the road.

Look for "Road" scenes -- think places with spur, way, trail or road in the name, and then keep your eyes peeled for corpses that will sometimes spawn along the path. Sannio said there are other scenes that have a chance to spawn one -- like Alley mentioned, the skeleton encounter is one such place. I've also noticed that if you already have an undelivered item in your inventory, you won't get another -- the corpses are just empty, so if you find one, go turn it in

 

Tried north midmear way and can't find a single corpse anywhere in the zone. Been doing random encounters for the past 2 hours, cleared about 25 and only saw a corpse in the undead one with the alter, this showed up twice but didn't have any mail or package on them.

 

Annnnnnd 3 seconds after posting I find a corpse with an undelivered letter....

 

Wondering if being in a party lessons the chance?

 

I ran through it and couldn't find one either. I'd love to have a little more detail if anyone has it.

 

I've been trying for just about an hour, if I find anything I'll let ya know!

South Valeway in Hidden Vale near the south entrance has a package bearing corpse fairly often.

 

Do you mean that the corpse sometimes has the package, or the corpse sometimes appears? If the corpse isn't always there, then maybe that's my problem in North Midmaer. I've been up and down that road and haven't seen anything.

 

The corpses aren't always there. They have a chance to spawn, but not always.

 

As Margaritte says, they aren't always there. However, when it is there it always seems to have a package.

 

I was able to find one corpse in Kings Road in the Hidden Vale. It was in the webby area of the scene not far from the spider egg sac.

 

Discovered that if you are in a party, only one person can get the undelivered mail/package.

 

I thought I'd also throw my tip of the day in for this thread...

The "Undelivered Package" is a quest item and it doesn't show in your inventory unless you have the "Show Quest Items" option enabled in your inventory.

So, if you are searching corpses but none of them seem to have one, chances are you already have one on you but just don't see it.

*EDIT* Just a follow up on this... I did just find a corpse that didn't have a package on it and I had just turned one in... so just seeing a corpse does not guarantee it has a package.
