What else do you have running to find yourself with "12280 MB physical memory [2778 MB free]." ?

    Windows. :)

    No, but seriously, I've got
Twitch, GIMP, Notepad++, Chrome and various drivers, that's about it. SotA takes up 5Gb of RAM when it starts... Right now, I'm using 3.72 out of 12.

If you wanna game play, Id turn off twitch + gimp, you wouldnt need them while playing.. that should help a lot, both would cause drain on graphics performance

    I went for a wander....

Attempting to respawn in Ardoris: Crashes immediately with UnityPlayer.dll error.
Respawning in Novia "Start on World Map": Works fine.
Entering Redmill: Works fine for a while, but crashes after a minute or two.
    Entering Aldwater: Works fine.
Entering Artemis Outland (Player Town): Works fine.
    Entering Soltown: Works fine.
Returning to Ardoris: Town is now marked as "Under Siege", so skipping for now
Returning to Redmill: Works fine now.

So, I wonder if there was just a problem that running around on the map and entering a few towns resolved?

I have a GTX1070.. The game runs very smoothly indeed. I do usually turn of Twitch, but when it's minimised, it doesn't affect things too much. I've uninstalled AVG now to see if that might be the issue... Also noticed that the game was using the VS2010 redist, so going to refresh that, because that's a suspected source of unity issues I've found....

I think there may still be a few minor memory leaks, but, as someone who can/has played for 12+ hours regularly without stopping it shouldnt be so bad.. Ive currently been running in and out of towns (must have zoned 20+ times already) and Im only at 8gb usage and Ive been in some very heavy zones (brittany, fully populated pots etc)

Well, unless it was a problem because it was my first logon since the release went live, you'll be glad to know that uninstalling/reinstalling Visual Studio C++ 2010 redist and / or removing AVG seems to have resolved the issue. I can now enter Ardoris. I've entered/exited towns a good few times and it's working nicely. :)

Thanks for your suggestions and generally being cool! Hope to see you in-game!

    Cheerie-pip!
