Unplayable - Lag

    Even with Graphics set to fastest QA is not testable - Regular game is fine - so can I get my QA Coto since I can not play it?

    Uninstalled and reinstalled and lag is still makes it completely unplayable

    Tried again this morning - removed - installed - not playable . . . watch the video you see the cursor disappear and no movement for a bit - HUGE lag issues

    Just curious, are you playing live on the same system? This is a laptop, correct (I am just making that assumption from the integrated video chip, I see those a lot on notebooks, although I guess you could have it on a desktop).

    I confirmed that the last time you played you were using the 980m video, not the Intel 530. I also confirmed that you weren't in game for 5 minutes which is how often we log performance data! On average the frame rates on QA are higher than on live so far. Can you please login and play more than 4 minutes. Try exiting grumpie town as well please so we can see if this is happening on Novia.

    I'm using GTX 970 discreet card on desktop and have not run into issue with the game performance with "Auto" video mode. Although, my game screen now gives me these weird horizontal lines everywhere I go.

    I wonder if it relates specific to the laptop version of the graphic card (980M). Have you tried to update the graphic card driver to the latest version?

    If you're on a laptop with two gpus make sure to force it to use the dedicated card those kind of devices sometimes decide to use the crappy gpu.

    Sometimes the choice of GPU is made due to power settings.

    Were you playing on battery or with the power adapter plugged in?

    This is good advice. I experience the same if I play on my laptop which has both integrated and Nvidia graphics - have to set to the system to use the correct graphics card for best performance.

    Ty will try I just did it again and will look at video but Live works fine QA dosnt but I will check setting on video cards and users

    Also I will sit in Qa for more than a few minutes and leave htre hideaway.

    @Chris - TY I did not even think that the two programs would default to a different video setting, I forced QA to use the 980 and it is now working fine, sorry to beat you all down about it, still not real happy about the rewards for QA but I guess I will go putz around in it and see what I can find.

    Yes I am a bone head for not seeing the two different setting on bug report :-(

    To the other who also pointed me at the video setting TY, as stated I did not even think they would default to two different cards, yes the QA was looking at a default slower one, and Live pick the better one.

    BTW I am fine even in GHH so not location was all my end, sorry

    Sometimes graphics drivers look at the app name to select video options. QA has a different .exe file name, right?
