Something strange has begun happening with tool repair kits. 3 somethings, actually:

    1) I cannot use the scroll wheel while holding the tool repair kit. This means that I cannot use them on equipped tools which are by default at the bottom of the inventory unless my inventory is nearly empty.

    2) While struggling with the scroll wheel, I accidentally dropped it onto a yellow supply bundle. The supply bundle ate 20 repair kits! When I opened the bundle, my kits didn't come out....

    3. Sometimes when I am holding the repair kit, the icon turns into a different item in my inventory such as garlic, a supply bundle, or a red worm. This was really confusing for a few moments.

EDIT: the 20 repair kits have returned to my inventory after restarting the game client. Scrolling still doesn't work.

Here's a tip for using tool repair kits...

Rename a backpack to TOOL REPAIR as an example.

Place your tool repair kits in this backpack.

Double click the backpack and have it open beside inventory....

Scroll down to tools or reverse the list by clicking on Item Name so your tools are right next to the backpack that is now open.

Drag Tool Repair Kit over desired tool you wish to repair...

@Jason_M, you can also drag tool repair kits to the icons in the skill window. To repair the:pick axe for example, you’d open the skill window (k by deafult). Click on the crafting tab. Click on the mining icon. Open up your inventory window. Find the repair kits you want to use. Drag the stack over to the pick axe. Repair done.

You may only want to drag 1 repair kit, unless you have the confirm option turned on. I’m not sure how may repair kits get used if the confirm option is turned off. I’ve always used the confirm option.

I never knew that. That's a brilliant feature! How did you find that out, anyway?

It’s been that way since day one. It’s the only way I’ve every done it. :)

Good tip indeed, guess I missed the meaning of your post...I thought you were scrolling your mouse down with a repair kit to tools in the bottom of your inventory... I used to do that and understood your pain LOL

That is what I've been doing.:oops:

Dragging and dropping is how equipment is repaired, so it's intuitive to do so with equipped tools as well.

Or so it was until the scroll wheel stopped working while holding the repair kit.o_O
