    Mostly because I'm in support of public libraries, but using the same Dewey numbering format makes things consist and teaches younger players something they can use in the real world.

    Looks like that is the idea! But you might go too complicate here, since some people might include offensive strings as part of the NBBN. It's better to keep it, the public code, just numbers. Later on, each library will add other code to better classify it, a private code as depicted by Bowen. "e.g. 10000-01321 | NF-01A-01"

    The big problem I'm having with an indexing system.. Dewey or otherwise.. is that presently there's no way to see that information without either including it in the title.. (which some titles just won't have room).. or having to actually open the book which seems to defeat the purpose. Any system is only convenient so long as the information is easily accessible.

    Libraries will need to depend on an external system of signs and possibly separate indexes to point people in the right direction..

    So the Title of a book will be displayed only by hovering a cursor on the book. Sorry for the simplistic question otherwise you would need some sort of way to identify the book without having to open it to see the contents.

    While I also thought of referencing this because young and old could benefit in my honest opinion the codes of identifiable topics include more (Earth-like) topics rather than Shroud themed topics, otherwise I certianly like the Dewey numbering format.
