Using empty lots without a house

    I'd love to have the choice to place objects on an empty plot with no house and still have plot security permissions cover them, having to use a house on a plot should be a choice as well.

    Have anything placed on a plot by owner, automatically set to owner only access by default, for chests and crafting benches for example.

    We are not sure house home permissions are going to work yet. We do know there will be some so i would expect you can do what you described there. In R1 and R2 we seen that you can actually store items on the grass, so i guess once you claimed a lot you can do what you had described. The only problem i see is that you will not be able to take advantage of house basements if you don't have a house. Unless the Devs come up with some tricky trap door thing like a storm shelter looking door for those who wish to not have a house on there lots.
