UUUUGH! Work! fantasy importance of it

So im feeling kind of like "uuGH! I dont want to go to work.......

Then i realized i must do it because man kind is depending on my daily quests! (making my work seem a little over the top important) Motivation! You see i deliver goods to various mini marts and 7/11's Humankind is depending on me to deliver 5 hour energy, coffee, mountain dew, energy drinks, video game snacks, etc.. If i do not complete this quest humankind will perish! Its up to me to save them! Its up to me to save most of you that game! You can count on me! You are all saved this day!
The King will reward me with wealth Once a week!

Id like to see a thread started that fantasizes how important your job is (even if its boring and repetitive) be creative!

 

I'm fortunate to have a job that I really love. It's like crafting magic. I type magic words and symbols and they spring to life. My magic helps the crown do things like find the best route for an invasion, plan infrastructure, gather intelligence on disasters or find harvestables. The King rewards me handsomely twice a month.

 

I love my job! Just dragging ass this morning!

 

I mean were else can you get free 5hr energy, and energy drinks and snacks! lol Its not such a bad job! Just have to watch what you consume so you dont over do it! 5hr energy for free hell yeah!

 

I love my job! I get to walk the Ramparts and keep the castle safe from intruders, as well as keep an eye out for anyone who gets hurt inside the castle and heal them of their injuries. A Paladin's work is never done!

Still, it would be nice to be able to be an adventurer and wonder the world in search of people to help.
