Various Help Window proofreading/comments

Since it appears I'm looking at the help windows this time, I'll just put all my feedback in one thread.

Vendor Proceeds

First paragraph is quite long visually (I know it's only 2 sentences, but your default window width is very thin) so maybe a Newline after "looks like a pile of gold."

In case the person coming in has a large inventory in the bank (and hey, why not teach how to use the search filter?) you might add a line that says

Type Sale or Refund in the search bar that says "Filter" to quickly jump to your money.

 

Combo Glyphs (I'm triggered!)

Used Triggered a lot. Also, sometimes glyph is capitalized, sometimes not.

You've just triggered the ability to perform a Combo Glyph! This is a more powerful glyph that can let you trigger decreased focus cost, additional damage, and more.

Suggest:

You've just triggered the ability to perform a Combo Glyph! This is a more powerful Glyph that can decrease focus cost, cause additional damage, and more.

Later:

Since a Combo can be triggered by skills of different levels

Suggest

Since a Combo can be created by combining skills of different levels

 

I like your suggestions but don't want them missed so I'll @Berek

 

A proofreading thread in the main forums would probably be a great idea. This one will disappear in two weeks. But I am sure at least it'll get seen here for a moment. I know there is a good way we can all collaborate, have more information, and keep persistent feedback in a well documented, easy to search format for the Devs. I just don't know how to do it.

World of New Brittania after exiting Soltown needs a couple of newlines:

First paragraph, put a new paragraph before "You will know you are about to enter the Overworld"

Second to last paragraph it looks like you tried but put in a space instead: "Important locations are also designated...."

Remember that it's easiest to read things that are 4 lines or less, particularly with these tiny tiny help windows.

Make the list more readable, either by making the keywords their own color, or newlining it into a list:

Most NPC's will respond to the following topics:

[What is your name] or [name]
[What do you do] or [job]
etc....

 

Player Owned Town help is called....

If you rename the window Player Owned Town, and then work in the acronym POT somewhere, that will help people using the forum know what we're talking about when we POT this, POT that.
