Vote for the Dachshund!

I'm a new backer and I was going to upgrade to the edelman because i saw you can have a Dachshund. I always wanted a game where i could finally have a wiener dog and was so happy until i asked around and its not in the game. I couldn't find if the community voted on it yet, If not i was wandering if we could do a vote? Thanks

I think a dachshund would be really nifty...and perhaps eventually a clockwork weiner dog!

The Deutsche Dogge has moved slightly northward of the border and is now rewarded as a Great Dane.

If you want to "try it" before upgrading then I can easily give that to you in the game (gone next wipe).
Just in game chat write
/friend Spoon
and then you can use the 'F' key interface to see if I'm online, if so right click my name tag and Whisper me that you'd like to see the edelmann dogge.
I could also show you how the house and such look like. The automaton is in but not movin yet, and the birdbath is in but not attracting birds yet.

 

Hey, it was late, I was tired, and obviously not thinking clearly.

That being said, I still think a clockwork dachshund would be ludicrously epic.

 

If that's the case they really should update the pledge reward description. It still clearly states they'll let the community pick if the reward will be a Deutsche Dogge or Dachshund. I don't recall seeing a poll for it in the weekly updates yet either... So I don't see why it couldn't potentially be a Dachshund if that's what the community leans towards.

 

They really should update a lot of things on the website, it is one of their weak spots.

I don't think there ever was a poll. It was just added along with a bunch of other pets back in R15.

While I agree with your basic premise here, I do find it unlikely since the devs already spent the time on implementing the Great Dane/deutsche dogge.

You could always write to support@portalarium.com and ask for a clarification if the matter is closed or open.

 

It would be nice to have an option, that's for sure. Dachshunds are cool.
