1. All post bodies concerning Shroud of the Avatar player to player transactions or services are limited to this section of the forums. Unwanted solicitation in other sections of the forums or via chat or private message is prohibited, and could result in account restriction or ban. Posting more than once per week within your own thread, "bumping" it to keep it on top, bumping within a week of the first post, and daily replacing a post with a new one is also considered spam and is therefore, prohibited. Bumping is allowed once per week, if the new post contains information that is meaningful to the original thread (i.e. price updates).

    Activities that involve real money exchanges between players are not allowed. Account transfers are not supported. Items purchased in the SotA Store, such as Pledge and Bundle Rewards, Add-Ons, Stretch-Goal items, and Player Owned Towns, as well as services that can be immediately fulfilled in-game (such as renting existing in-game property or items) are the only permitted exchanges in the Player Marketplace.

    We will not restrict exchange of goods but we will not officially endorse these exchanges due to liability issues and staffing bandwidth. No in-game or chat based real money exchanges are allowed. Exchanges are at the players own risk and governed by the Terms of Service of whatever third party platform. Catnip Games reserves the right to restrict any activities if they cause widespread issues for our community or if these activities involve exploits of any kind.

Want to Trade Edelmann home for Wood & Plaster 2-Story Balcony

    second update: I will HAVE the Edelmann home, I WANT the 2 story wood and plaster home that is shown in the below photo, not the reverse. Thanks, sorry for the confusion.

    update: removed the request to include a basement, a trade for the house only would be great :)

    NOT The Town version as there is a town version of this thats "slightly" different. Just the Village version.

    There is literally 1000's of Edelmann homes out there (not even counting the Founder versions of the home), and many of them are on pledges that bought an add-on home, or have a knight home or a town or larger lot that would be happy to trade away those Edelmann homes cheaply.

    This particular home is sought after and there is probably fewer than 100 of them ever purchased, and likely intended for use.


    I am told the only difference between this home, and the town version, is the rotation on the lot. The balcony faces the front of the lot on the Town version. Of course a major difference would be the town version can only be placed on a town lot.


    I don't think you will get a rare expired home in trade for your Edelmann home, but I wish you luck!

    I agree with Lord Andernut. The Wood and Plaster with the balcony is rare. You might find someone willing to sell one cheap though, so posting that you are looking for one is a good idea. I sold mine about a year ago to someone who wanted it and had no desire to make a profit on it so sold it for what I paid. But those types of transactions aren't happening much anymore. More and more folks are looking to make a profit off what they have bought that has now expired from the Add On Store. But I did see one sell for $45 a couple of weeks ago - but that person was leaving the game and just wanted to get rid of their stuff, so you might be able to make a deal with someone. You never know.

    The other difference between the Town version and the Village version is that the Town version does not have the 3rd door at the narrow end of the building. Access is through the 2 doors on either side of the building which eliminates that little useless room at that end of the building.

    What they have said is true. It's rare and you'll likely have better luck if you offer to purchase it and if you're patient.

    Every so often you'll find someone amazing comes along and helps you out if you really want something. ;)

    The town version is also bigger. Definitely the main area downstairs. Not sure about the upstairs differences. Not planning to part with mine (village). I'm surprised if < 100 purchased.
