I've been looking for more info on Warding's on the forums and wiki but have only found 2 posts here. Before I ask a bunch of questions, can you refer me to more information?

Any information about how they work. I've heard several things when it comes to them, I didn't want to make a huge post if there is more info I can find about them. I'll add more later if I don't get a reply with the answer. Hate to make some long in depth story type of question if there was just a simple link :)

Okay, each skill level in a warding skill provides +1 resistance and -1 attunement in the associated magic. Note that each point of attunement accounts for half a point of resistance, so 100 wading skill actually provides 50 resistance and makes casting that magic yourself much less affective. The Magic Resistance skill in the Tactics tree provides +1 resistance to all magics except Chaos and -1 attunement to all magics except Chaos. The only way to get Chaos resistance is to train 10 skills in the tree for attunement (the 10 highest skill are used to calculate attunement).

I have several questions but for example. I have heard that NPC mobs when casting any magic skills are considered physical damage and warding's make no difference. I find this hard to believe but if it is true then they have even less use. I have a couple other questions but I'd very much like to know the answer to this for example.

Magic resistance makes a big difference against NPC enemies.
