I just selected upgrade with my +3 weapon and silver, then hit salvage instead of craft.

Can we please have a warning message popup when you attempt to salvage magical equipment. Thank you.

Yes, but some people do a lot of salvage, they will be forced to, each time, confirm. Bad idea.

There's a request in to move the salvage button away from the craft button.

I do a lot of salvage.

That is another part of the issue, I sometimes salvage a hundred or different things 15 at a time and can accidently drag some other things in with them if I am not careful. If there were a warning any time an item of value was about to be salvaged it would also mitigate that risk.

You are really salvaging large numbers of magical items for their scrap metal value? I find that a little odd and doubt most people are doing that every day compared to the amount of nonmagical items they salvage. But even if you are it would only be one button press on a popup and you would do a batch of them, i dont think it is going to take you any serious extra effort compared to the trouble it will save people.

There'sma couple of issues with this proposed process.

First what does of value mean? I'm not sure that is can be objectively defined as what is of value to you isn't necessarily what is of value to me.

That then leads to the second issue. If you can't define what of value means to someone the ebeythin must be of blue and you'll need to confirm every piece. And this againn leads to potential harm of something you want to keep.

    Catch 22

just add a option where we can id any item to not be sold/salvaged .
    right klik :
    equipe
    protectid status
    destroy
    or something like this .
makes it olso easyer to not accidently sell your spel reagents and such .

We can have a lot of confirmations. "Are you sure?" and then "Warning! You are about to scrap a Rusted Sword! Continue?", and then "This operation cannot be undone! Beware! Do it anyway?", etc. All time consuming and stressing, for every time we have to wonder if there is any danger or troubles ahead.

No one will use much scrapping if got a lot of warning. But how about "Undo"? That is a great feature, don't slow down the game and don't stress the player with unneeded warnings. Sure that arrange the buttons is far easier than implement a Undo feature, but please consider it, has many many advantages of anything else we can thrown in.
