Wells in Basements

To my knowledge, the only craftable fountain is the large one, and that won't fit anywhere on a row property (at least it won't place anywhere for me).

 

This works! Thank you very much! Luckily, I had not purchased a well yet, so spending it on that was not so bad.

 

They should make a smaller craftable fountain.

 

I just have to ask this to make sure - does the Isabelline fountain provide water? ( ie. Can you harvest water from it?) Because small fountains like the one below definitely won't:

 

Yes @Numa the smaller fountain now provides water. I have it and it just got patched in a few days ago that now all fountains give water. The only thing not done yet is that on a pot wells and fountains not on a lot will not provide water to anyone other than the owner or steward level. I believe that will get fixed and eventually happen since I understand a water source is a water source and it's listed as 'known issues'.

 

That is very good news ! : Now I have 2 choices instead of just one I can also confirm that our POT well still isn't working alas.

 

Speaking of underground water sources...

I'd like to see Gothic fountainheads like this, which can attach to a wall and pour water into a basin...


The same fountainheads were in Lord British's castle in the game, where there was an actual basin for water to pour into if I remember correctly. But here, its part of a dungeon puzzle.

But there are a lot of historical examples, and these would be good sources of water in gardens as well. You'd attach one to the outside of a house's wall... or on the inside.

Heck we already have some basin fountains in the game in Arabella's castle, in the library.


I took a bath in one. Don't tell Arabella.

Another thing we can have is underground pools.
