What Are Moon Towers Used For?

    I have a Moon Tower NPC building that I've never placed in my town, as I don't know what its supposed to do. Does it have some function? I've seen them around in places like Owl's head, but thought they were there for "atmosphere".

    Somebody once told me they warded off sieges. Is this true? If so, I'll go out and buy 10 of them. :0

    no current function. i don't know what plans they have for them; they certainly don't seem to ward off sieges in the npc towns...

    Decoration...

    At various points over the last 4 years they were to have been both or either a source of power for Aetheric objects for a whole scene... where windmills and the like would be required to power them for a single lot... and a method to protect scenes from sieges. Obviously the latter use has been abandoned... the former may still come to be... some day.
