I'm a tailor, and as anyone who has spent more than five minutes at the tailoring table will realize, we can't make clothes currently. Sure, we can make cloth and leather armor, but those pieces are not at the top of the fashion food chain.

What I'd like to do with this thread is compile a list of clothing items for Portalarium to consider adding to the game in the form of tailoring recipes.

Before we begin, a few rules:

    • The item(s) must fit in a current clothing slot.
    • The item(s) must be plausible in the current game setting. (no plastiform armor, holographic pasties, etc)
    • The item(s) must be clothing and not variations of armor types currently in-game.

    Here's my list:

Kilts! (worn in the legs slot)

Shirt / vest one-piece combos! (worn in the chest slot)

Thigh boots! (worn in the feet slot)

    Let's hear your suggestions!

Sashes would qualify as an additional layer, so we'll have to wait off on those until Portalarium implements clothing layers, which won't happen for Episode 1.

    Keep the faith, though!

I would like some clothing that can fill the role of armor and town clothes together, similar to something like these 2 outfits. Of course in male and female options :)

Sashes could actually be attached to the cloak (back) slot. It would of course make it so you would have to choose one or the other. But it *could* be done. ((experimented with this in the game i DO make clothes for)) ;)

People are mentioning hoods a lot. I would like hoods to have an "up" and "down" state when you double click them. So you can literally wear your hood up or down.

Shawls (Cloak Slot): Witchy Medium feel. Loosely wrapped cloth
    [IMG]

Mantle (Cloak Slot): Shorter than a cloak, goes all the way around. May or may not be hooded
    [IMG]

And Robes. Robes robes robes robes.
