    I think is visions are great but they are not incorporated into the game somehow.

    Maybe because of the workload? Or the cash? Or because they are technically too complex for a small team like this?

    Talking about storyline this is definitely not the case. Has been done in U VI - U IX 20+ years ago.

    Likely a combination of these... The game is good, and has a lot of potential. I just don't want to be saying exactly this in 2 more years.

    Yes you are telling me that the second time now and i still have no idea what you are refering too with "it has been done 20+ years ago".
    What has been done 20+ years ago that you are missing and that should be possible to incooperate?

    I still think they should have thought about this before starting a Kickstarter and collecting money or begin with a much smaller vision...

    Ultima 7 had complex NPC schedules
    It managed to bring NPCs to life and tell a great story without walls of text.
    There were consequences to our actions - dying NPCs, destroyed cities.
    Nearly every object in the world could be moved and dropped anywhere.
    It had an interface without an obtrusive HUD.
    It had companions that were more than just combat pets.

    Just my opinion.

    Sorry I am too old and in no mood for your childish snarkiness.

    The reason is obviously because that was promised in the Kickstarter (Ultima VII like main quest). But I get the feeling you are not here for a grown-up discussion, so I will refrain from commenting on your posts from now on.

    That's not about snarkiness. That's about that you are not able to frame your diffuse expectations into words. Hence my post that LB's visions can be harming for this game.
    See, i am here because i expected some kind of UO 2. And that's the whole problem and story of this all. I am sure we both are able to nail our diffuse expectations to posts and videos from years ago.
    Never wanted to take that up to a personal level with you. If it came across like that, i am sorry.

    Ah but you ninja edited and decided to take it up to a personal level.
    Feel free to ignore me then *shrugs* i really do not care.

    If you use 1990 as the start date, $1,000,000 adjusted for inflation in 2018 is equivalent to $1,887,291.51.

    Interestingly, a gentleman by the name of Raymond Benson was the lead on all writing and the story. He also played a part in the development of the music. If you read his bio he got his start writing dialogue for the James Bond movies, A View to a Kill and Goldfinger! :D
