Jehlom, and the farm.
Paws was my favorite. I liked the cats, and the waterwheel. trading between the various stages of industry in Paws is a memory I'll never forget.
Gypsies hanging outside of town, and the town was there for good reason, it took two days to go along the King's Way from Trinsic to Britain or vice versa, so Paws was an important place to stay the night for travelers. Given the option, I would have positioned the Wayfarer's Inn here instead of in Britain.
Runner up is Buccaneer's Den. Gotta love the Pirate life!
Skara Brae. I have always liked Skara Brae. Had to see it when I was in Scotland earlier this year. Awesome!
Gotta be Trinsic. City of the Dead! Lot of early memories of that town on chessy. Spent a lot of time in a player run town just south of trinsic.
I rp'd a mute crafter. And Minoc had everything an aspiring crafter could wish for. Spent many a happy hour there.
The tinker's guild found its home in Minoc in the offline games.
As for my choice; it depends on the Ultima game; they changed from game to game. My list might differ slightly depending on whatever Ultima game you're talking about.
And as long as we're including gargoyle cities, why not those on Serpent's Isle... I really enjoyed walking around Fawn. Oh, and on Pagan, climbing onto rooftops in Tenebrae.
Moonglow......because the Lycaeum is my favorite place. A light in the darkness.
Grew fond of New Magincia cause liked how it appeared in U7:BG. A proper feeling of peacefulness and isolation from the hassle of major towns.
I liked cove, plenty of resources, cemetery close by, orcs close by, everything you need and secluded.
It is was where I started my Ultima career in Ultima 4 and for some reason when I replay the games and go back there It always like I was away from home for a long time and I have returned.
I'd play UO again just to go back there.
Raises a glass for the City of Valor, there will never be another like you.
Honestly, Haven! I know it was a young town, but that's where I became totally immersed.

I have several favorite cities ... Britain (Bloody Plains), Minoc North (Outside Wind), Serpent's Hold and Nu'Jelm. But above all the old Occlo island in its original form.
(I know the contribution is old, but I'm going only since today. )
I come from the original Ultima's and have played UO, sadly never finding it as intriguing as the original games.
I choose moonglow because i loved the island it was on and the mages.
To be honest though all the towns had significance to me, each was unique in it's own way. I have a sudden urge to pull out ultima 7 again and play a bit.
That is one thing SotA will not have going for it, the rich history of 9 games to back it up. Oh well, in time.
I liked the serene nature of Skara Brae, it was one of the less busy cities and I always felt peaceful having a picnic there. One of the few cities that made me really FEEL something, as a person.
My favourite "place" in the game was the flower grove. Absolutely magical. I'd spent hours having picnics with friends among the wisps.
Verper, because I have a big connection to that city. But you didnt put in in the list, so I cannot vote.
Yew, as I was and always will be a self-sufficient ranger adept at crafting expert bows, arrows and related goods

Trinsic because of ... many reasons (momories) .
This poll was made before the voting-options cap was removed. If you check out the OP, you'll see that there is a work around to allow you to vote for Vesper. Your vote has been counted.
Thanks! I checked.
