When swapping between alt avatars, can't open shared containers in arrival scene

If you have more than one avatar on an account, when you swap to a different one at log in, that avatar will be unable to open owned containers (chests, trunks, mail box, etc.) in the scene where he/she arrives. Waiting around doesn't fix this, so it isn't a 'not loaded yet' problem. Exiting the scene and returning, including to a basement, resets the problem, so it's likely something with scene initialization.

It doesn't matter where the avatar you are switching from is located, it can be in the same scene, same lot, or just anywhere on Novia. What matters is the scene in which the avatar switched to arrives.

100% in testing so far, not a blocker, just annoying and perhaps suggesting some other alt switching issues.

ETA: By 'shared' I mean containers on the account, rather than true public containers.
