Should a fire breathing dragon have a stream of fire to attack citites and groups or fireballs?

    Just thinking about dragons, in game when they do come into effect, should they have magical tools of death, Like Fire Breath, Acid Breath, Cold Breath, Electrical Breath (lightening) and poisonous breath? Also i think that it should take a group to kill a dragon and no one should be able to solo it. (builds teamwork and interaction with others)

    Also hear's a poll for starters...........On dragons, the same goes for the other types of magical destruction they may have.

    Let the Dragon Discussion begin!!!

    Also i think that the color of the dragon should reflect what type of dragon it is.

    Hello my friend. I am excited about dragons also and hoping for great things from them too. Perfhaps you would like to see this thread that came out while you were 'away';) You are pretty much agreeing with what most people want that I've seen and heard anyway.:) I'll post my picture again for your post tho. Me and my pics;) Also see the link above for the other thread and great ideas. I never can post my links and pics beneath my comment, hmmm so it is always above.;)

    Is there a place they are going to be in R19. The burninator is suppose to make it to R19 but where. Has anyone seen it yet?

    Maybe the baby dragons wont be quite so dangerous, so to keep your city safe, slay them young! Better yet, find the dragons nest before they even hatch, snag the egg and have a cook out with it before the momma dragon catches ya. Imagine how many cakes you could bake or how many ham and egg on english muffin breakfast sandwiches you could make from one dragon egg.

    I can't picture fireballs coming out of a dragon. I don't think it would look natural, but I couldn't find a picture of one either;)

    The clip starts with fireballs being shot at the dragons but a few seconds later the dragons retaliate.

    For as long as I remember, dragons were an intelligent race with the ability of speech. in addition to their great strength and protective scales they also had the ability to cast spells. Admittedly there are many different variations of what a dragon is but for me, when I envision one, it is a great and terrible creature whose powers both physical and magical could dwarf that of almost any human except the most powerful of mages or legendary warriors.

    It would not be such a far stretch for me to see a dragon that could both breathe fire AND cast fireballs. ;)

    Of course if dragons are implemented as they were in Ultima Online then they'll be nothing more than big dumb brutes that offer good hunting, decent leather and some scales but nothing more. Must say though I'd like to see that change. Have them be rare, random and feared. Adding in a degree of intelligence and even some spell casting ability.

    A dragon without the ability to breath fire or similar elemental attack is not a dragon but a giant lizard with wings.

    According to the Field Guide to Fantastic Creatures, "Some have speculated that dragons' stomachs have evolved to produce and store flammable methane gas, which they ignite with sparks from their teeth. But no one has got close enough to find out for certain!".

    In Reign of Fire, (a movie, but still) the dragons have two sets of glands in their mouth, which excrete different chemicals, the mixture of which turns out to be highly flammable in contact with air.

    I'm of the mind that a dragon with glands/magic for fire would "naturally" be able to do both a stream and a ball of flames, thus I have not voted in this poll with that option lacking. Besides that point, I think my favourite form of dragon's breath is fire. :)
