    Hi!
Unity is a very friendly to old hardware like mine.
When i look up into the sky in SotA, the game runs smoothly, just rendering the geometry and materials give me low fps.
It sometimes bothers me in games (Arma for instance), that they Could run mostly perfect on computers from the past, just the meshes/mats are made for modern times.
Too much optimization is unnecessary, i get it, just buy new hardware, most people have, you are the exception.
But it could be, that a person in a poor country only finds recycled old hardware and can't buy new stuff.
Or to save the environment we could use less energy by rendering less details, or the available power can be used for BOINC - scientific calculations to fight cancer or find aliens.
Maybe SotA can come packed with it and suggests on lowest graphical settings to activate it.

I once made a mod for the game Rodina to run smoother, the meshes were really unoptimized - a chair had like 3 chairs in it!!

And i reduced this kitchen scene from 500.000 tris to 190.000 tris with very few visual differences.

That's with subdivision surface and creases - not available in games of course - but just as a proof of motivation ;) .

So, you could transfer some workload to me (before you decide you want a visual ~Operation Flashpoint (but >Minecraft) - mode).
I may be stoned, but sometimes that helps!
