Where to find information on patches to the game

This is a quick guide to let you know where you can find information on what is in a patch or a release patch.

Patches are released to the game at various times as needed as well as the monthly Release patch, which is also delivered as a patch.

There's 2 different kind of patches:

Client Side Patch
These are patches where you have to download the patch and then it is installed before playing.

Server Side Patch
Server Side patches can be released to the server, but no change on the client side is needed. You can tell when one of these has been put on the server when you get a pop-up message saying this instance will be reset, and then an option Yes or No. You can click No, and still stay in an instance if you are in the middle of something. To then connect to the current version of the server, all you need to do is leave a scene. You do not need to do anything else.

Where to find information about a Client Side Patch
If you download a patch that is not a part of the monthly regular Release patch, you can find that information on the main website https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/

At the top of the page you will see a Updates section then hover your mouse over that and then select the Release Patch Notes:

Where to find information about a Monthly Release Patch
If you download a patch that is the Monthly regular Release, you can find that information on the main website https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/

At the top of the page you will see a Updates section then hover your mouse over that and then select the Weekly Updates:
