Where To?

So I bit the bullet and bought in today so I can "see for myself". I've commented on some things positive and negative but figured it was time to draw my own conclusions, and have a question.

Now what? I've been to the starter town and found a dungeon there I was too low level to visit, as well as made my way to Ravenswood. (sp?) Since there are no quests, at this point do I farm spiders, bear, etc and just work on leveling up? If so, is R-wood a good place to start?

Also... I could swear I read or saw a video somewhere that said there were no levels. Did that change or did I not see that? (I'm old)

We do have levels - you get skillpoints to spend at the Skill Trainer (one in Kingsport and one in Owl's Head), which you'll want to do to get better skills for fighting things easier.

Go kill whatever animals you can, until you have levelled up enough to kill harder things - that's pretty much it.

North Valeway is a good starting map.

 

there are plenty of quests! talk to the npcs in braemar. ask them how you can help.

 

There is no quest log, and there aren't necessarily tons of quests in game yet, but there are some. Make sure to ask every NPC:

"Can I help you?"

Or if you're lazy, just type "help" to each.

Find a guild to join and meet up with some players in game. I can give you some gold and plate armor. I maintain a guild list, and I'm biased in my love for Moongate Travellers, but pick any guild that appeals to you.
