Im not in game but i dont recall if its /who or something else but it basically pops up people in or near you. I logged into SOTA for the first time in a long time a few days ago around 7pm ca time, and when i typed /who in it brought up 4 names..... 4 NAMES. My question is does the /who do just near you or is that the entire online?

Either way was still a very empty meaningless world, but it did peak my curiosity seeing only 4 people total.

/who only displays those who are in the same scene instance as you.

No matter what you do your not going to see 100's of people in any instance.

Personally I use my friends list to get an idea of how many might be on at any given time.

On a normal day I have 100-300+ online on my friends list at a time, but I'll NEVER see more than 10-20 in a scene unless its a really busy day.
Even with hundreds of friend on my list in game.

At this time while writing this I currently have 150 ppl on line on my friends list but only 1 other player in the scene I am in <Deep Ravenswood>

    Hope that helps.

You can go to keypad and hit the zero key (provided numlockis on I believe) and see folks as well.

If folks are not in the same instance of a zone as you, you can still use /z to communicate to other instances. I believe we tested this in diamond fields once.
