Why is the launcher trying to access an address determined to be a security threat?

Why is the portalarium launcher perioddically trying to access 180.168.141.242 port 41804. Thi sis being flagged as a security risk by ny firewall. Doing a Who is shows this address to be in China. What is the purpose of the access to this address. I have blocked it and everything seems to be working. Do I have an infected instalation?

 

no. the launcher is a torrent client. you receive the patches from the server port is running, but also any other copies made available elsewhere in the world by anyone running the launcher (or a seperate torrent client), and the port it runs on is editable from within the launcher settings, so the person on the other end could have changed the port, probably to get around the great firewall.
