Exactly, when what we should be talking about is how we can build a game that can INCLUDE people, which is quite the opposite of where this was headed.

I understand your 'personal' frustration with the Head of Sobek, being as taxidermy AND the contest (I agree , bad on Port on this one) was something you specifically took interest in.

I could agree to make it available elsewhere. Could you agree that PvP'ers need SOME incentive of value in order to support our play-style, even if we can agree that it won't be Heads in the future?

around 1850 -1851 many similar designs of the the British cross for military award and decorations came in to being after that period. Im a military history buff Templar Knights also wore that symbol.

 

As I have said, as it is now I can't actually call it PvP, they really need to do something for the PvPers that might even make the entire community wanting to go there, but placing mountable heads in PvP zones only is not the way to go.

There are way more ways to go, like rankings, where the top tier PvPers actually get rewards might be one way.

 

And I have done my share of PvP over the 17 years I have been playing MMORPGs. But as it is now my mental health stops me from it, it gets to stressful.

I agree with you, that as it is now, you can't call it pvp.

Trust me, none of us really want a continual gank fest. When you put 'quality' reasons to pvp in a scene, guilds and groups will begin to form to fight for that value. That's how it works.

I promise you, if Port ever puts another head in a pvp zone, just msg me and i'll go ape-**** all over the forums on your behalf.

When they put some few items in a pvp scene for us to fight over, please don't go ape-**** in protest.

During the meantime, understand that Devilcult was just using what limited fun was available for him at this time, and sincerely meant no ill will, as he stated. Take a breath, and see if the other party will converse, (after the first one or two kills of course, I thought everyone knew this) you might just make a valuable friend.

 

@Khaza, okay if they take the mountable heads out and into a PvE zone, and replace it with something else. Which I hope they do replace it with something else, cause I want the challenge to go get it.. Then what if the next PvEer wants that replaced item also placed outside a pvp zone.. and so on and so on.. when does it stop? See this is not only about the PvPers... its about the PvEers like me that want it there in the pvp zone.

 

As it was, we both derailed from the topic by tossing dirt at eachothers signatures, I said I was sorry for it. But Envy did not read that and just continued to toss dirt. All I did was thanking for the nasty words.

 

For all I care it could be hidden behind an army of dragons you need to fight your way thru to get to the Spawn. But please don't force me to go to a PvP zone, as I said, I can't handle that sort of stress as it is now. Been on sickleave for over 2 years for stress symptoms.
