Why SPO?

    Yesterday, I went to Twins Foothills in MPO mode to kill a thing and get a resource. When I entered the scene, I quickly discovered that someone had killed all the mobs without looting them and harvested all the resources without collecting them. This is why I am so happy that SPO mode exists in this game.

    guildwars 2 made it so this wasn't an issue at all. if a node is spawned, anyone can harvest it. while i'm harvesting it, you can go up to it and harvest too. both of our loot tables are entirely seperate. and it was not a bad thing. with the way looting is done here, to enable that type of 'instanced loot tables' for nodes like this, meticulus collection would have to end up with fewer resources as it does, so the market isn't flooded.

    @ThurisazSheol ---Agree. Also the nodes are spread out and you do have to fight sometimes to get to them. It solves so many issues with gathering in one fell swoop.

    nope, never happens to me. what system specs do you have? maybe there is a bottleneck somewhere that we can help you with? besides, part of the bits that havn't been tuned properly, is network congestion.. it will get better whenever they get around to that.

    agreed... I'm sure it will become better over time but that doesn't mean I should endure and suffer when I can simply switch to SPO ^_^

    Why SPO?
    Because Shroud of the Avatar is a Selective Multiplayer RPG and not a MMORPG.

    I have same issue, never used to but i have since persistence. It is being worked on.

    sadly, it is folks with that attitude that will make it so it doesn't get fixed as fast as it should. just switching gives you the instant gratification of playing, but doesn't help the devs dev, which was the entire point of early release.

    Early access means I provide feedback and bug reports for what I encounter as part of a mostly normal playing experience. If the devs want me to suffer through poorly implemented functions, they'd better be willing to make it worth my time.
