Any chance you allow windows to be open on a second screen. I like having my inventory open and skills and such but want to keep my main screen free for playing?
    This would sure be great!!!!

I run the game in window mode and then expand the game client to 3 screens..

    Fun time :)

I have it in window mode as well, however stretching it over multiple s screens gives the same problem. If you want to keep multiple windows open they block game play.. I want to keep my windows on one screen and my game play on a second. Doesn't seem like it would to hard of a feature. Many games have this. Some even let you use your tablet as a second screen for stuff like this.
Plus I don't think the game looks as good split over two screen my avatar is split down the middle by the borders of the screens and it stretches out the screens so they don't look as good. Just my opinion

Ultima Online did this. At least a few years ago. the play resolution was 800x600 and when you maximised your window you could drag your inventory and paperdolls, spells etc into the non-play space.

I too would like a similar feature that allows this. seems handy.

The big difference between that and what I would like is I want to pull things out of the main window..

Exactly I want to keep windows up and not have it block my gameplay.

What UO did would essentially do the same thing though. When expanded the window it didn't expand the visible game space.. but rather the extra space was simply black.. you could put your gumps there and it wouldn't block anything.

That would work then. So long as there was enough space for several windows. To be honest I played UO in fact I was part of the beta for it. (not sure if it was called a beta back then its been a long time) .But back then I never had dual monitors so I never had the ability to try it. :)
Once the Sequel for UO got canceled I stopped playing UO and moved on to other games.

I have a feeling the game engines are vastly different. Lol I don't think they could just stretch some black area to the side of your game for Windows. I have to imagine doing that with a 2D game is a bit easier

Sure game engines are different: same underlying problem. I cannot myself see why the solution can be resolved a better way though?

It would be nice. I use two monitors myself and wouldn't mind that feature! Probably more work than it would be worth sadly :(
