Wondering why

Why is it that in the last wipe of April 27 I was allowed to place my house within 3 days? But after the next wipe I have to wait a full month before I place my deed? What is with that? I am to be homeless for a month and may be stuck in some player town where I do not want to be? Why last time only three days and this time a whole month?

 

Because last time was only a test.

 

Yes, a test. The 24 hour windows for each tier's lot placement were reduced to 30 minutes for the test.

 

How will we know if the test was a success or failure? And if it was a success, will they go with the tested schedule?

 

The test was a success as it prevented placing lots before "your time" which is based on your pledge level, and prevented placing more than one lot.

As the time slot being a pledge reward means if you want to place your house lot sooner, consider upping your pledge to get a higher place in line.

 

They will not go with the test schedule. The tier windows are 24 hours. Reducing one's opportunity for placement to a mere 30 minutes means that too many people would be forced into an inconvenient, possibly impossible placement time. Remember, we have an international player base.
