Worn Cloaks

They look freaking awesome. I have avoided cloaks until now, as they cramp my style. But I love the new worn cloaks that skeletons drop! And its dyeable! I am tempted to use a COTO to repair one of these to 100, but feel like that would be a big waste just to have more dyeable gear on.

Are there patterns for these? If I salvage enough of them, will I get a Worn Cloak pattern at some point?

+1 on this. It's by far the best cloak in the game. Second ONLY to my original all black Obsidian Order Cloak.

 

I got 4 patterns from 7 cloaks.

 

Do cloak patterns have any real use? Having not been a cloak-wearer, I was under he assumption cloaks can't be MW/enchanted, and don't have material buffs. Was I horribly, stupidly wrong?

It would be awesome if we could apply patterns to reward cloaks.

 

Is there a reason to? I thought cloaks were pretty much just wearable deco and had no stats. I've never looked though- I heard that somewhere, and never thought about cloaks again. I thought that's why so many people where the shroud, as it (before new virtue buffs) had a a little better DR/DA.

 

How many did you have to salvage for those, any idea ?

Cloaks have one point if DR. The biggest reason would be that you wouldn't have to keep replacing it (and dying a new one). It's a pretty minor thing though.

 

I think the reason many people like the worn cloaks is because they have a bit of a Jedi feel to them.

 

Hm. But aren't reward items unbreakable? I guess I'm confused.

 

Or wait, reward cloaks are patterns, aren't they? I see now.
