would like to see something like this for the German community. Maybe we can organize an international evening where SotA players or guests read their stories.

 

We'd really like to do something like this but we would need a German translator to assist. If anyone would like to work with us on this, please let @Asclepius know!

 

The universal chat already has the / translate function with which any number of lines of chat can be translated from any to your language.
What kind of human assistance would you need beyond that?

 

Unfortunately, we can't take chances by broadcasting writing that a human hasn't cleared. Translators are great, but they're not perfect. Also, the audio would have to be cleared by a human for the same reason.

Edit to add: If we cannot find someone who speaks German to assist with this, it might also mean there isn't a broad enough German listenership to warrant the production time. Sadly, we are only an active staff of two people. That said, if there is anyone who is bilingual in German/English and would like to be an editor or more, by all means, let us know here or on Discord.
