    Performance in Linux has never been really great but a recent thread (here) has really made it clear the disparity between Linux and Windows.

    Performance improvements are an ongoing effort and depend greatly on Unity as well as OS interactions.

    For a performance issue to be a bug, the scenario would have to be a delta of a previous level of performance, and specific. Moving this to feedback to allow for ongoing discussion.

    Occasional hitching in the last couple releases however I didn't think it was too bad. I was waiting to see what happened in the next release before making an issue of it.

    The framerate on Linux has been in a steady decline over the last year (at least).
