@Sannio Clause will forgive if you just have faith. Tis the season when all your dreams can come true.
Over the next month or so (hopefully sooner than later), I will be cleaning up the Wishlist forum a bit. ...Watches as pitchforks and Torches are dragged out No, no, no ... I'm not going to be purging the threads. I will be creating a new sticky post that will explain how Wishlist items should be posted and I will be locking the "catch-all" threads. It is important that each idea get its own thread to allow for discussion and feedback from the community. The ongoing single thread with hundreds of ideas within are not getting the best visibility, and therefore are an injustice to those who who posted in them. Granted there are threads and/or posts from many years ago that may need to be archived, but that is something I will address once I start doing a deep dive into all the content. One thing I am considering is creating a sub-forum where all the implemented wishlist items are placed. (ideally with a closing note from one of the Dev Team noting the completion of the work. Of course, not all ideas can be used, but we do read the forum and love to see what the community comes up with!
i like this idea. i think it could be expanded a little to wishlist items that have been put in queue to be done. that way we can get excited knowing its coming it also might be nice to know if a wishlist item is under consideration. if you move it to an under consideration sub it would allow the community to give more focused feedback knowing that it might be implemented where before some folks may not comment as it is "just" a wish list item.
My plan there is to post in the thread indicating that the idea has been discussed and placed into a pool of potential ideas, still need to work out the specifics.
What I do sometimes, when I find a wishlist item that is quick and easy for me to implement, is make a to-do item for myself and reply to the wishlist thread stating that I've added it as an "issue" with the Issue number.
What I'm seeing here is we need to flood the wishlist as many ideas as we can to get them on the perma list right away... I still want meat filled pinatas...
