Little Walda Walker has wandered away. Come help locate her.

Hundreds of Snow Walker are now enjoying their time in town and the surrounding areas.

Seen above in a recent picture taken at the Jade Valley Markets with her family, little Walda (front and center) is still missing: The Walker family, friends of the Jade Dragons, and the Jade Dragons themselves have all vowed to help find Walda.
She is clearly labeled as Walda Walker. She is unique.
She is on public land, not on anyone's property.​

There is A SMALL CRAFTED PRIZE for finding Walda, ALSO each person who finds Walda will have an entry into a GRAND PRIZE DRAW FOR A TAX-FREE POT ROW LOT DEED.

When you find Walda please make a reply to the thread here. That way I will have a time stamp of who discovered her first, second, etc. I will confirm your find by asking a secret question that you will be able to answer if you are standing next to Walda. PS I move her and change the question each time she is found to keep it going.

**Draw to take place on January 25th, 2023**​

Each entrant will have their names numbered in the order that they find Walda. The assigned numbers will represent the person during a dice roll made in-game on Wednesday January 25th, 2023, at 9 p.m. NBT (New Britannia Time Zone, Central USA time zone). The winning number will have a tax-free row lot sent to their mailbox.


Lily Byrd will make the winner of the grand prize known in-game, on the SOTA website in the forums in this thread listed under in-game player events, and in SOTA Discord events thread.

Come help! Everyone welcome. Walda is located somewhere in Jade Valley.​

 

I will add NPCs to each of the 3 market areas in Jade Valley with clues in the next week or so if no one has located her by then.

When you find Walda you can let Lily Byrd know by private message if she is in game, or here by private message too. There will be a time stamp on the entry in the thread here, so I will be able to tell which order Walda was discovered in. I will list the order of people who found Walda here in this spot as it happens.
It doesn't matter when you find Walda, you will be entered into the contest for the prize:

Good question, I forgot to mention that part. You can whisper me in game...not always reliable as I am often off daydreaming...or you can make a comment here that you found her. I will ask you a secret question that you will be able to answer if you know where Walda is, and that will prove to me you found her. Please don't tell others the answer it's more fun for them to try to discover the spots themselves.

Goriah Kuulas Has found Walda. He has won the first prize (a small crafted item, a Jade Dragons heraldry cloak), several gems, fireworks, potions, etc). It has been mailed to him. The grand prize of the tax free POT row lot will be chosen from ALL those who find Walda and report it here. There are other prizes to be won!!

I only just noticed the text that you will move her every time somebody finds her - so time to comb through Jade Valley again as she could be anywhere again...



When you say she is uniquely named then that does mean that when hovering the cursor over her one would not see "Snowgirl" but her name, right?

May I suggest that the "Daily Message" of Jade Valley should mention the search?

 

And the exit Points of Interest in Jade Valley are all named "Exit to Overworld". They could be renamed to something like "North exit", "South Exit", "Southwest Exit"...

 

A Governor cannot rename the default point of interest markers for their town.

 

they cannot. all towns with that template share those exit names but not all those towns have the template rotated the same direction.

Henry Fletcher has found Walda. I will move her again. If you are mid search, I suggest you retrace your search steps.

 

I might have to pick a less obscure spot next time. No one has found her for a couple of days. I'll leave her where she is until 17 th January when I get online in the evening. If she isn't found by then I will add a clue to one of the three npc guards who are in the marketplace.
