Stretch Goals - Aggregated Suggestions (unofficial)

Hello Everyone-

I've spoken with a few people and there seems to be some interest in making new stretch goals. In preparation for possibly getting some updated extra features I've gone through the majority of posts here and made some notes. The plan, hopefully, will be to aggregate your favorite suggestions and then see what's most popular via a series of polls. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to participate!

A couple of things to remember though:

1.) This is an unofficial activity. Suggesting a feature doesn't mean it'll happen, but, I will try my best to provide a better chance of it by helping start discussions and aggregating popular ideas for quick consumption by everyone.

2.) It'll benefit greatly if your suggestions are limited to a single sentence. Try and imagine what you'd want on a poll. Shorter is better-but I realise writing complex ideas in a concise format is not always easy. If you'd like to expand on your idea a paragraph of text describing the idea further would be great, too. Just remember though, being brief means a higher likelihood of getting added!

#1 Fishing content: lures, traps, nets & crabs, shellfish, clams etc

Given that there are Founder's house pet and German house pet and Non-combat pet mentioned in various reward levels, I'd like the ability to 'convert' one of my tamed animals into a house pet.

 

Boats both craftable and buyable...

I'd like a Homunculus and a familiar.

Not just animations of these things, but deep systems of NPC chat, servant mechanics, combat, the whole 9 yards. These aren't pets, they're much more.

Oh yeah, I'd also like to see a deeper Ritual Magic system, as well as a deeper summoning system. I know we haven't heard a lot about either of these things, but in terms of both I feel that they're only going to scratch the surface in episode I based on what we've heard so far.

 

-An in depth house building system for customizable houses
-user controllable boats (craftable item)

 

I would like to see some sort of system by which players can create their own quests for others, preferrably including spawns. (Likely only feasible in friends-only mode.)

I would like some system, either directly/live or via pre-programming for under certain conditions (proximity, keywords, etc.), by which you can make other beings under your control (vendors, servants, pets, mercenaries, etc.) say or emote things.

 

- Benefactor crafting table lower quality than the current founder level crafting table (but upgradeable)
- Add-on or Benefactor pledge level for heraldry at a higher price than for founder's

- House decoration ingame auction house

- Each city's ability to mint their own currency as an alternate means of trade

- Plant grafting to create unique fruit ingredients and wood types

 

1. Mounts
2. Moving Boats and Wagons
3. Ranching - like rounding up cattle into a barn (this might have to include wilderness housing or I can see the town folk getting mad with a street full of sheep)
4. Seasonal Content - preparing for winter (firewood and working fireplaces), snow, leaving marks in the snow, knowing when to plant or harvest, etc
5. Small fishing boats for lakes and rivers

Something easier, maybe craftable fences for around our house?

 

-Create an in-game means to submit user-created artwork for decorations, tattoos, maker's marks, and heralds.
-Support multiple monitors (2 and 3)
-Provide dynamic appearance adjustment (activity and eating habits adjust character's visual fat/muscle mass accordingly)
-Allow climbing, jumping, falling, swimming, and collision.

 

Is it safe to paraphrase this as "Interactive Familiars" ?

 

Is it accurate to summarise these two as: 1.) Player Generated Quests, and 2.) Puppeteering of other objects/NPCs/PCs in SotA?

Well I'll throw something out there for kicks..

Dancing.... and not just a few simple emotes.

 

Maybe even partner dancing or different dances for different music themes. Slow dance for slow songs. Jig dance for Jigs. would be nice for RP.

 

I was thinking mostly partners and groups.. (but mostly partners). I only didn't elaborate further because the topic has been discussed elsewhere.

 

I would like the 2.25 strech goal which people put money in to get honored

 

The 1.25 million stretch goal in which people put money in IS 100% being honored, so please do your reasearch and calm down
