No, I would sell off my assets, recouping whatever I could, and leave.

To me it's not a small detail. It is my one and only make or break line in the sand, and always has been.

Ya I've been PK'd a few times by people just being jumpy and not sure of my intentions. When we get a rep system it will help this.

As far as your comments regarding objects lost in PvP, I think you have a mistaken idea. Maybe take another look at the random section of the instructions as it will explain in more detail how it all works.

But basically, you can get anything back if you pay the Oracle's random. (She's so sweet isn't she.)

This exact topic has come up at least 6 times in the past (you even acknowledged it in post soooo??) - Answer is - - - - - -

Not one second needed to do it all over again - a lot of players agree it should not happen - -
Devs have somewhat agreed and the solution was to ensure Non - PvP work arounds -
    Solution done - get on with life - - - -

But since you know there is a workaround and that you've made your point over and over already, why do you feel the need to repeat yourself ?

My lines in the sand have been broken a dozen times... I'm still here... :p

Because it was the appropriate response to your statement.
We all make our own choices and all set our own limits. If you're still here, then they weren't absolute limits, were they?

This conversation has become off topic to the thread, so, I'm ending my participation.

Nah, not absolute indeed... but I'm not playing anymore, I just have hope some things will change cause I have nowhere else I know that could perhaps one day create what I am after...

the more it goes, the more I find some elements distasteful and if they are not corrected in the future then maybe I will resign and leave, maybe.

Do I have absolute limits ? Sure... portalarium hiring child labor to complete the game ? Stuff like that that matters... but a small detail like being attacked ? Oh bohoo you risk loosing a stack of reagents or a rusty sword... I think its childish and a very inhumane way to leverage the weight of your investment while it makes absolutely no freakin difference.

off topic, or in other words you don't want to get to the bottom of it.

So its my fault if you felt the need to repeat yourself, great, very mature.

Its kind of funny because I thought many times about making my home in Dawns keep, its the town I liked the most of all, I was there often because of stuff that happened in UO storyline.

So yes, you could have assumed yourself and told me YES Ahu, it would be a shame because I'm that much inflexible.

    We can agree to disagree.

Personally, I feel the word "forced" is thrown around this forum way too lightly.

A bunch of people who have the disposable time and money to sit around playing computer games for hours on end are hardly being "forced" to do anything.

I just think it really minimizes situations where people really are forced to do things against their will to act like exposing your avatar to a risk of virtual death by another virtual player has some sort of real life meaning.

I'm glad that there are situations in the game that allow for the choice and opportunity to engage in PVP. It is a fork in the road and one does not have to take it, but it is there as an invitation into an altogether different and exciting play style; if it isn't for you, just pass it up.

Until i do not see any pvp balance and Limits to chars i vote Yes and i would even say yes to remove pvp completely from the game because pvp actually want you to skill too much trees and abandon any Archetype role you may want to play.

I would even say that consensual in this case means you are consent to miss content, because PvP scenes are more about PvE and Lore content than pvp content.

I just voted no because the work is already there, and they could use that time to work on other things. If you can survive malice, you should be able to survive the underground. The only thing required to go to a pvp zone for is the spawn of sobrek heads, and they can easily add those into some pve scene.

I do not want PVP and Portalarium should not send me as a victim in such an area!
The playerkiller should leave me alone!
