[By design] 684 - Power words for spells show up as a title (briefly)

Actually the Words of Power show up in the Chat Bubble.

Very likely by Design.

 

i have chat bubble disabled. still getting this.

 

im making a report of it to the ui section.

If you look at my screenshot, it's very clearly not in the chat window.... Thus why this was filed.

 

It was in the Chat Bubble for my Avatar.

I don't even know what those are. I guess I've never enabled them. I would generally expect this to show in the chat window, as it used to.

Yes, this was a design change it seems.
To turn it off, you currently have to turn off all chat bubbles from appearing.

I don't use/enable chat bubbles. And in that situation, I would expect the text to appear in the chat window like it used to.

 

The text is appearing in the chat window.

that's the checkbox in the chat tab options that controls whether you see the words of power in the chatbox.

 

Yes, if logos is disabled (cog icon on chat tab) then the words of power are not appearing in the chat log. That is working correctly.
But the words of power over the avatar's head currently cannot be turned off as intended. This is now a known issue
