[By design] Vendors listing is not ascendant when opening them

    Vendor listing in date added order on opening, which is not helpful. You are able to click on name tab to list alphabetically but this is just another click everytime you access or re-access each vendor.

    I created a bug to check into the design intent. Personally, I like the added by date because then items that have been added since my last visit to the vendor (newer) are lumped together, and more noticeable to me. But alphabetical by default is nice as well.

    Turns out my reasoning ended up being the same reasoning the designer had - coincidentally enough. This is a design change in R51. I normally catch these but this one slipped by me. Bug # will be closing.

    When we open up a vendor, are we searching a date, or a specific item? Its an item for sure. Alphabetical order should be default. I dont know if i can but i contest that design ;p

    @Lexie Yeah. I follow that they added the date field. Useful if you are looking for new items listed. But making it the default ? I am with @devilcult on this issue.

    If this is not possible, please change this back to an alphabetical listing by default. Players are usually looking for a specific item when browsing vendors, and making the list alphabetical is the easiest way to find anything. I love the new date field that has been added, but I really don't like it being the default.
