Steps to Reproduce: Go up to a tree. Jump at it. Move forward, try circling around the tree while moving forward. You will climb up.

Yes, there is really not much that can be done about this - at least on the art side. It would take a considerable amount of tech work to get this changed for all the trees in the game. We'd have to change a lot with collision, so the current way would be the lesser of two evils. If we could call it evil. It's trees! It's a part of the environment such as rocks

Now if they were trees that could easily be climbed on accident (such as running by it) that would be frustrating and we have changed at least one tree based on that unintended behavior. But if someone really tries, they can climb just about any type of tree.
