Loud noise when launching the game

I posted this for the previous release, in a different forum. No responses, and it's still happening as of Release 31, so I figured I'd repost here.

When I launch the game, one of three things happens:

    • There is a loud buzzing noise, like when there's a loose cable in a sound system. The sound will never stop, and I have to quit the game and relaunch.
    • There is a really loud white noise sound. I mean really loud, like make-you-pee-your-pants loud. But it's only for a second, right at launch, and then the game plays normally.
    • On very rare occasions, the game launches without any screeching.

This isn't new to Release 30. I think it started in Release 29, maybe earlier, and lazy me figured it was widespread enough to get fixed, but it's still happening as of this morning's update. I couldn't find any threads about it, so maybe it's just a problem with my setup.

It has gotten worse, to the point that I have to launch the game probably 10 times to be able to play. It has been happening with two different headsets, a Logitech G930 and a G933, both of which use their own dongle for the sound card. I'm running Windows 10.

Anyone else have this problem? It's making it difficult for me to play the game.

Edit: I have discovered that unplugging and reinserting the headset's dongle stops the screeching, but it's a bit annoying to have to do this every time I launch the game.

    @Serafina

    Certainly!

    Intel i7-3770K
    32 GB RAM
    64-bit Windows 10 Pro
    GeForce GTX 690
    Logitech G933 Headset

Game is installed on a Seagate ST2000DM001 mechanical disk.
Sound is through the G933's dongle. I had the same issue with my previous headset, a Logitech G930.

What else about my system do you want to know?

Also, I recently tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. Same behavior. And thank you for looking into this, if you can. It's an incredibly annoying thing.

Seems to have stopped happening, with Release 35.
