Simple Range increase for Inventory of Storage items

Can we get an increase on the range at which we can see inside of containers.

I have all my containers (now had to have more than one with inventory count change) in my crafting area.

BUT some the tables are a step or two out of range.

A simple increase in range access would make life so much easier.



All I am asking for is an increase in access range.

Deleted other thread as it got filled with minutia.

 

Maybe in the meantime you could move your crafting stations closer to your containers?

 

I don't really see a need for this, personally. I don't even have much of a problem with storage. I have two chests and it holds more than enough for crafting. I generally hit E and crawl to the chest, craft, then open the chests and replace the items in bulk. I'm of the mindset that a more functional layout could be utilized for most players' personal needs instead of a change to the game's mechanics.

I also wanted to toss in that I'm a bit disappointed that I'm unable to read the full discussion with other players on this because it was full of details you felt were irrelevant.
