Shroud effects?

So it looks like each virtue gives and good and evil effect, for example good on truth is +5 int and evil is 0. My dex and str are +5 on mac. My alt has 1.8 str and o.3 move speed, 3.5 int and 0.8 magic res,and +5 dex so str and move speed must be the courage virtue part and int and magic res the truth. I do not have anyone who does not have the +5 dex, so anyone know the offset to the love part?

 

I am actually getting -5 Int from the Shroud

 

Mine has a negative stat as well.

 

Do you all have anti-virtuous avatars? I don't like that you get punished for role playing an evil character. Maybe they could give different bonuses for less virtuous avatars..?

 

they do, at least the shroud. less str means more move speed. less int means more magic resist. i don't know what less dex does. neither does mac. hence the post.

 

I have dex 4.8 and aggro boost .2 I believe. I also have -5 int.

not sure what my virtues are. That aggro boost scares me.

 

i wonder if the -5 int doesn't kick in unless you get the full +5 magic resist. looks like people who get only some magic resist still get a bit of positive int

 

My shroud started out looking like the above but I spent some time working on virtues to 'fix' it.
I still need to feed the beggar more cheeseburgers to get love (dex) up to +5 but its a work in progress.


Because I had done a virtue reset, when I started the process of 'fixing' my int bonus was only + 0.8, so I didn't ever see it go negative, but once I raised it up to 5 the magic resist went away completely (as it should).


It seems to be that
<----move speed COURAGE -------> str
<----aggro boost LOVE -------> dex
<----magic resist TRUTH -------> int

The stats seem to cap out at a positive 5 each, so based on what your cloak shows you can get a reasonable idea of where your virtue scores are.

 

This is good info. Can you point me in the direction of where to start fixing my Truth Virtue?

One simple way to increase Truth score is to tell NPCs your correct full name.

 

Does that "magic resistance" buff apply to all schools then?

 

How do you raise Love?

 

I believe one way you can raise Love is to ask NPCs "How are you?"

 

I gave like 30 coins to a begger and my Dex went from 1.6 to 1.9, Aggro Boost went from 6.9% to 6.3%.

EDIT- Looks like .1 Dex per 20 coins.
