Combo system the same?

I've been gone 3 years, and curious what has changed.

I remember the combo system you needed to click one card, drag it too another card, then click a third time...

Well I refuse to "click" my abilities.

So rather I had to click "R" then "card A", then "card B" then it created a "combo card" so a FOURTH button press...

All to do one combo move.

Is that still pretty much the way it works?

 

They way I do my combos is simply "Hold keybind for ability one" > "Press Keybind for ability 2" > "Let go of both abilities" > Combo is ready to cast

Sadly, when I was playing, I used my gaming mouse thumb buttons for 1-9.

I don't have 2 thumbs.

Yeah, games like this one will not be super user friendly if you don't use a Keyboard + Mouse combo, I actually changed my WASD movement to ESDF so I could use more fingers in a fight, can't imagine playing this game with minimal keyboard input.

 

nah man, I have 2 hands lol, I meant only one thumb on the mouse

I'm always frustrated with game controls.

You shouldn't have to do the press R and then click on the card anymore..

Unless I misunderstood, you should be able to hold 1 and then press 2 in order to combine 1st and 2nd cards together.
