    Why is it that when approached the compass icon pointing ahead vanishes?!

    No clue, maybe a bug? Try posting it at the bug section. Do a /bug in game at the location.

    I believe markers are supposed to disappear once you’ve reach its location. It tells you where to go, not where to stand.

    When arriving at the destination, the location/area where the compass icon vanishes, there is no "Cave of the Queen brown wolf spider" highlighted or sighted!:mad:

    The compass markers should be saved when they appear - like the scene exits, but can move when you get close enough to the destination.

    If that one is bugged, do a bug report with the /bug command in chat to let them know if it is not being saved.

    There should also be blue sparkle highlights for any quests on the markers to help find where to go next.
